Commercial Lead

Arbeitsbeschreibung

We are looking for a Commercial Lead to take responsibility for the commercial and financial management of assigned project packages, working closely with delivery teams across the Eastern region of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Quantity Surveying duties on projects valued at £7M and above

  • Preparing and submitting monthly valuations/applications for payment

  • Assessing, pricing, and agreeing variations

  • Producing monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and chairing CVR review meetings

  • Negotiating subcontract terms and issuing subcontract documentation

  • Valuing subcontract works and issuing payment notices and pay less notices in line with contractual requirements

  • Monitoring project cash flow and supporting credit control activities

About You:

  • A recognised qualification in an MEP or construction-related discipline

  • Forward-thinking, proactive, and detail-oriented

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels

  • Highly organised with a structured and methodical approach

  • Commercially astute with a solid understanding of project financial controls

Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 DOE

Office based in Northampton
