Commercial Manager - Civil Engineering/ Gas works - Outside IR35

Location : Bacton, Norfolk
Engagement : Permanent
Salary : Depending on experience however very open to discuss

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Commercial to join a key client in the Energy sector working on a major project.
Our client is looking for a Commercial Manager working on a large major project in Norfolk within the Gas sector. This work is long term, initially a 2- 3 year scheme however has the opportunity to be a 10 year project.
They are looking for someone to run and be responsible for this project in its entirety. The project is valued at circa £5-10 million through the phases.
You need to not necessarily have energy however a good civil engineering and NEC background

Key responsibilities for this Commercial Manager role:
- Reporting into the Commercial Director
- Management of the project from a Commercial perspective
- Client liaison and stakeholder management
- Change and Compensation events
- Day to day running of the Commercial element of the project
- Commercial management of the procurement and pre-construction management

Experience required for this Commercial Manager role:
- Worked on the Commercial management of major projects
- Ability to work from the start to finish of a project
- Procurement and management of Sub-Contractors
- Experience working on sectors such as Gas Pipelines and Heavy Civils work
- Management of projects valued up to £20m in value
