About the Role
This Civil Team Leader position sits within a water and wastewater capital delivery framework, supporting site operations on live construction projects. Working under the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of delivery teams and subcontractors across multiple schemes.
The role is site based and focuses on safe, compliant and efficient delivery of civil works. You will take ownership of SHEQ performance on site, lead briefings and inductions, and ensure work is completed safely, on programme and within budget.
Key Requirements

Supervise civil construction activities on water and wastewater projects

Manage site teams and subcontractors on a day-to-day basis

Ensure compliance with SHEQ, legislative and company standards

Lead site briefings, inductions and toolbox talks

Monitor quality, programme and performance on site

Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
Experience Required

Previous experience working in the water industry

Civil construction or installation background

Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors

Strong understanding of SHEQ and legislative requirements

Site Safety Management qualification or equivalent

Ability to manage multiple activities across live sites
Desirable Knowledge and Skills

Experience working on capital delivery frameworks

Good IT skills including MS Office

Strong communication skills across site and office teams

Confident managing subcontractor performance and client interfaces
