The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established residential developer delivering high-quality housing developments across Warwickshire and the surrounding regions.
This position offers the chance to work alongside an experienced commercial team and gain valuable exposure to live residential construction projects. The successful candidate will support the commercial department in managing project costs from initial stages through to completion, while developing their professional quantity surveying skills.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with cost control and budget management across residential developments

Support the preparation of valuations, cost reports and financial forecasts

Assist with procurement of subcontractors, materials and services

Support the management of subcontractor accounts and payment applications

Liaise with site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects remain commercially efficient

Assist with the preparation of final accounts and commercial documentation

Provide general support to senior members of the commercial team
Requirements

Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Good organisational and communication abilities

Ability to work effectively within a commercial team

A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop

Full UK driving licence due to site visits
