Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Refurb Projects, Angel, London
We’re urgently recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a friendly, supportive commercial team on a high spec office to apartment conversion in Angel.
This role is open due to a recent backfill, and the team are keen to bring in someone who wants to be on site, learn fast, and gain hands-on exposure to a complex London refurbishment project while being mentored by a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants real project involvement rather than being sat behind a desk.
You’ll be involved in:

Assisting with cost planning, forecasting, and reporting

Supporting procurement and tender analysis

Managing subcontractor accounts and valuations

Preparing variations and supporting commercial documentation
What they’re looking for:

Previous experience as an AQS or Trainee QS

Refurbishment or build project exposure preferred

Strong organisation, communication, and numeracy skills

Someone keen to learn on site and take on responsibility quickly
