Track Engineer

We have a current opportunity for a Track Engineer on a contract basis, to work with a Tier 1 client on a long term project up and down the UK.
There is a couple of positions available for Track Engineers.

This is for an Alliance, who are responsible for the development, design and delivery of track renewals and crossings, as well as associated infrastructure works for 10 years, and covering the majority of the UK from London to the Midlands.

This position will be predominantly be based near Birmingham, however works can extend Nationwide so the successful candidate must be open to travel when needed.

We are looking for a UK based Track Engineer, with experience working on large scale Track/P-way projects for PC's and Alliances.
Essential experience is as follows -
1. Handback Level 4
2. Stressing Level 2
3. Tamping
4. Track Maintained
5. Renewals
These are specifics for the project.

The role is a freelance role and will sit Inside IR35, rate TBC DOE, however we will be looking circa £400-£500 per day.
The start date is dependent on the successful candidates notices and availability, bit ideally before mid March.
Length - initial 12 months, with the vie for extension
