12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Summary
An engineering-led global infrastructure group is looking to hire a Technical Services Intern to join the business in Swindon.
This is fantastic opportunity for someone looking to enter the workforce potentially after studying at university.
The successful candidate will be working on developing a Field Reporting System platform to support the business on UK construction projects
Training will be provided
Responsibilities will include
- Setting up interface spreadsheets & daily diaries
- Prepare training materials for roll out
- Develop alternative field reporting application (software tbc) for QA processes and check sheets
- Develop interfaces between relevant departments using field data
- Obtain and develop process flow charts and checklists required by site
- Prepare reporting dashboards in Power BI
Looking for someone with:
- Understanding of construction processes in an engineering discipline.
- Ability to develop software applications and link platforms working alone and in team.
- Basic competence in AutoCAD software.
Salary: Circa: £18,000 - £22,000
