A sub agent is required on a site in Poole Harbour with ecology experience to work with one of our contractors to create a freshwater habitat.
Responsibilities
As a Sub Agent you'll manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.
Your day to day will include:
- Support the Site Agent in managing a significant section of the project
- Support the Site Agent with cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of target cost, actual costs and forecasts through commercial awareness
- Ensure all labour, plant, materials and supply chain resources are accurately recorded
- Create a programme to plan and measure the day-to-day activities
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and National Highways standards
This role of Sub Agent is great for you if have:
- Ecology / Ecologist experience
- Relevant qualifications – HNC, degree level, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge and experience of the main management systems and processes used within a similar business
- Experience in a similar role
