Site Manager

Location: West Midlands
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
Package: Company Vehicle or Allowance, 25 days + 8 bank holidays, Private Healthcare, Life Cover & comprehensive benefits scheme

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a well established main contractor delivering high-quality healthcare and education projects across the region.

This is a site-based role reporting to the Senior Management Team, where you will take full responsibility for coordinating and managing on-site construction activities. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role:

  • Plan, manage and oversee day-to-day site operations.
  • Lead regular site meetings with the project team and supply chain partners.
  • Maintain strict health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor progress against programme and budget, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues.
  • Review construction methods and materials to drive efficiency and commercial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Provide aftercare support upon project completion.
  • Mentor and support site team members in their development.
  • Maintain accurate site records including diaries, labour returns, and weekly/monthly reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement across site operations.

The Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering healthcare or education projects in a Site Manager role.
  • SMSTS qualification.
  • Appropriate CSCS Card.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to organise resources effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Project planning experience.
