Site Manager
Location: West Midlands
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to join a well established main contractor delivering high-quality healthcare and education projects across the region.
This is a site-based role reporting to the Senior Management Team, where you will take full responsibility for coordinating and managing on-site construction activities. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The Role:
- Plan, manage and oversee day-to-day site operations.
- Lead regular site meetings with the project team and supply chain partners.
- Maintain strict health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Monitor progress against programme and budget, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Proactively identify and resolve on-site issues.
- Review construction methods and materials to drive efficiency and commercial performance.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Provide aftercare support upon project completion.
- Mentor and support site team members in their development.
- Maintain accurate site records including diaries, labour returns, and weekly/monthly reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement across site operations.
The Requirements:
- Proven experience delivering healthcare or education projects in a Site Manager role.
- SMSTS qualification.
- Appropriate CSCS Card.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to organise resources effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Project planning experience.
