Salary: Up to £55,000 + Package

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a proven background in the water sector to oversee site activities across multiple Anglian Water projects. This role will involve managing all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Experience in clean or dirty water projects is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all site-based activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Plan and monitor daily operations to meet project deadlines and performance targets.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality management standards.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
- Manage site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment.
- Oversee quality inspections and ensure all work complies with design and regulatory requirements.
- Produce and maintain site records, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Support cost control, procurement, and value engineering initiatives.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and proactive problem-solving on site.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the water sector (clean or dirty water).
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering and utilities projects, ideally within frameworks such as Anglian Water, Thames Water, or Severn Trent.
- Excellent understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a collaborative approach.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in site documentation and reporting.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
Qualifications
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
- CSCS card (Gold or Black).
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Relevant engineering or construction qualification (HNC, HND, or degree preferred).
