Site Manager

I have a requirements for a Site Manager to work on a project based in Langport – Somerset which will be working on the Environmental Agency package covering the improvement flood storage reservoir. You will be commissioned to support delivery of flood risk management, environmental, navigation and other outcomes, providing services at various stages of the whole life asset cycle and incident management responses across the Southwest.

The correct candidate will have…

•You have relevant experience in general civil engineering, including setting out of the works.

•You have experience with concrete structures. This would be beneficial, but it is not essential.

•A CSCS Card and a degree in civil engineering / HNC or equivalent in civil engineering (as a minimum).

•You'll possess good IT and communication skills.

• You have relevant qualifications – degree level, or equivalent experience

• Excellent communication and project management skills including leading and managing technical teams.

• Able to take the lead with client interfaces.

• Able to establish project requirements and drive the team to deliver the outcomes in terms of safety, quality, cost and programme.

• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Previous project management experience

• Worked on heavy civils projects

• Preferably some knowledge or experience of working with the environment agency.

• UK driving licence
