Site Agent / Project Manager
Summary
A successful railway infrastructure contractor specialising in track installation & signalling is looking to hire an experienced Site Agent / Project Manager in the South of England to manage a number of rail civils projects valued between 10k and 2million
Seeking candidates based in the Essex & Surrounding area and willing to travel to sites as required.
Works include: troughing, concrete, groundworks, drainage, rail station & depot works, track maintenance works.
Looking for an experienced site profession interested in project management.
Duties include
- Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Safe delivery of site inspections.
- Day to day construction management
- Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project team members.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Document project progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare regular reports for management.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years or site / construction management / project management experience on Railway Engineering projects
- Permanent way project expereince desirable.
- HND/ HNC minimum in Civil Engineering or relevent subject desirable
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- Commercial awareness of cost monitoring and cost value reconciliation
- SMSTS / CSCS
- Railway Safety Training (PTS)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 negotiable dependant on level of experience plus package including
- Company Vehicle / Car allowance.
