Service Technician / Field Engineer
Summary
A global manufacturer of foundation drilling equipment and established in the UK market for over 12 years is looking to hire an After-Sales Service Technician to join their team
The role will be based from the clients base in Rotherham but will require the successful applicant to work remotelt to visit locations across the UK to carry out the following tasks;
- Commissioning, repairs, rigging / de-rigging and maintenance of all types of equipment on site, at customers premises or at their own workshop facility
- Liaise with our customers service staff to rectify faults both on site and over the telephone.
- Liaise with the after sales team to provide feedback from Jobsites and to help rectify faults.
The successful candidate will be able meet the following criteria:
- Possess a thorough understanding of modern mobile Hydraulics and Electrics / Electronics.
- Possess relevant industry qualifications and hold a current CSCS skills cards.
- Employ good communication skills and a customer focused attitude
- Hold a full UK driving license and passport.
- Previous knowledge of BAUER products is desirable however not essential as regular product training will be provided
Ideally will hold a NVQ/Diploma L2/L3 in the following or similar in:
- Plant Maintenance and Repair
- Heavy Diesel maintenance and Repair
- Land based Service Engineering
Salary: Circa £45,000 - £55,000 plus package including:
- 8% Stakeholder pension scheme
- 25 days holiday per year.
