Senior Technician/Project Manager

Arbeitsbeschreibung

Your tasks
For equipment projects in systems such as ETCS, ESTW or DSTW or BFZ, you will create feasibility studies, commissioning scenarios, innovative concepts as well as precise specifications and guidelines.
You will contribute to safe and well-functioning railway traffic by planning and conducting acceptance, system and integration tests.
In national and international projects, you are responsible for trade-specific interests.
You design and analyse system architectures and interfaces.

Your skills
Your completed technical training (HTL, FH/University) in the field of railway engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, computer science or natural sciences (physics, mathematics, etc.) was the foundation for your start into professional life.
With at least three years of relevant professional experience in the railway sector, you have gained a wealth of experience and a comprehensive understanding of the railway sector.
On your journey, you have already gained extensive technical and operational knowledge in the field of control and safety technology (signal technology).
You have a basic knowledge of EN 50126 standards, TSIs and/or national regulations on railway systems.
Ideally, you have already completed additional training in control and safety technology (signalling technology); for example, in the form of the ÖBB course VT02 (ST02) Safety Technology.
Thanks to your good language skills in German (C1) and English, you will understand our national and international customers.
You have a class B driving license.
