Senior Site Manager – Public Realm / Town Centre Upgrade
Location: West Yorkshire
Rate: £350–£375 per day
IR35: Outside IR35

We are recruiting an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead a 75‑week town centre refurbishment programme in West Yorkshire. This is a long‑term opportunity to deliver a high‑profile public realm regeneration project.
Project Overview
The scheme involves managing multiple phases across a live town centre environment, including:
- Civils and groundworks
- Hard and soft landscaping
- Paving and public realm improvements
- Streetlighting upgrades
- Installation of street furniture and urban enhancement elements
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day site operations
- Manage subcontractors and maintain programme milestones
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in line with compliance standards
- Liaise with the client, local authorities and key stakeholders
- Maintain quality assurance, site organisation and accurate reporting
Requirements
- SMSTS (essential)
- Proven background in civils, public realm or town centre regeneration projects
- Experience managing complex works within live, operational environments
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
