Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: St Helier's, Jersey

Full lodge and travel expenses will be provided and the role will suit an individual happy to live away in Jersey during the working week.

Salary: Circa £75,000 plus allowance and package including;

Summary

A leading and well-respected Tier1 major civil engineering contractor operating in the infrastructure sector have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to be play a key part on a major, high profile infrastructure and marine works scheme based on the picturesque island of Jersey in the channel islands with a value cica £100m.

You would will be involved in the full remit of commercial activities including cost reporting, sub-contractor control, compensation events, early warning / cost forecasting and the managerial responsibility for subordinates, playing a key part in ensuring the commercial and contractual delivery of the project.

The suitable individual will be either a Quantity Surveyor looking for progression or currently undertaking a Senior Quantity Surveyor role looking for opportunity with one of the most forward thinking contractors in the UK.

Seeking someone with;

- Exposure to major civil engineering and construction projects with a track record of success in the role of senior / quantity surveyor.
- A formal qualification in a relevant discipline (i.e. BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent)
- Significant track record of success in the commercial contractor and management of civil engineering schemes to a value circa £50m + within competitor and complimentary contracting organisations.
