Freelance Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor – Residential Projects
Rate: £350–£450 per day - Depending on experience and determination yet to be decided

The Role
You’ll be joining a well‑established M&E contractor delivering major residential schemes in prime London locations. This is a senior‑level freelance role supporting the commercial team on live projects, managing costs, packages, procurement, variations, and reporting.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing M&E packages across multi‑million‑pound residential projects
- Preparing and reviewing valuations, variations, and CVRs
- Procurement of subcontractors and materials
- Contract administration and cost control
- Working closely with project and delivery teams on site 2–3 days/week
- Client and subcontractor liaison
- Ensuring commercial governance and reporting to the commercial lead
Ideal Candidate
- Strong Senior QS experience in M&E building services
- Proven record in residential or large mixed‑use projects
- Comfortable working autonomously on a freelance basis
- Able to attend site and office 2–3 days per week
- Available for interviews next week
