Job Title: Senior Planner
Location: Warrington (flexible for the right candidate as there are other sites in the North East and in South England )
Engagement : permanent or freelance considered
Rate: £450 - £475 per day
Status: Outside IR35
Overview
Our client is seeking a Planner or Senior Planner to support ongoing and upcoming projects in the water sector. The business is experiencing growth and is strengthening its team to manage an expanding pipeline of projects. The ideal candidate will have planning experience within a utilities or water infrastructure environment.
Key Information:

Focus on water infrastructure projects.

Responsible for project planning, scheduling, and coordination to support operational and commercial teams.

Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time.

Competitive and fast-moving recruitment process - interviews are already scheduled with a candidate next week.
Candidate Requirements:

Previous planning experience in the water or utilities sector is highly desirable.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines.

Good commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery constraints.

Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work proactively across teams.
