Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer
Location: Esher, Surrey,
Salary: Circa £48.000 - £55,000 dependant on experience plus package
Summary
A successful engineering consultancy renowned for delivering complex and innovative design solutions to the global construction industry is currently recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical design engineer to join their growing geotechnical team in the Esher office.
Responsibilities
- Design delivery of the geotechnical elements of existing and future projects
- Co-ordinate with other engineers both in the regional offices and between groups
- Prepare fee budgets, proposals and resource requirements for projects
- Prepare calculations, drawings and other documents and ensuring these are controlled during the execution of projects
- Support less experienced staff, sharing knowledge and acting as a coach or mentor
Experience /Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer with MEng/BEng/ MSc in Civil Engineering or similar
- Design experience on a range of geotechnical structures
- A strong design background
- Experience working in teams and assisting more junior engineers
- Connecting and growing client bases.
- Previous knowledge of the regional Civil Engineering market is desirable.
