Senior Construction Estimator

Job Summary:
The Senior Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in construction projects by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates. As a senior member of the estimating team, you will be responsible for leading the estimation process, managing a team of estimators, and collaborating closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors. Your expertise and experience will be essential in ensuring the success and profitability of projects.

Responsibilities:
Lead the estimation process for construction projects, including analyzing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to develop accurate cost estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to identify project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
Supervise and mentor a team of estimators, providing guidance and support throughout the estimation process.
Review and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare detailed and comprehensive quantity take-offs, including materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for each project.
Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to validate cost estimates and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:
Ideally 10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on ICI projects.
Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, materials, and equipment.
Proficiency in construction estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, and CostX.
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance, feedback, and support.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Extensive knowledge of local and regional building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary: Between $135,000 and 160,000 depending on experience
