Regional Manager - Construction & Project Management

Our client is a building consulting firm located in Richmond BC and they are looking for a Regional Manager, Construction & Project Management individual to join their growing team. As a Regional Manager, Construction & Project Management you will provide supervision, training, technical guidance, coordination, and quality control for all employees on the Construction & Project Management (CPM) team. Also responsible for the strategic leadership of the department which includes business development duties. They will also provide project management functions for specific clients.

Responsibilities for the Regional Manager, Construction & Management:

- Establishes a culture of proactive business development through client, consultant, subcontractor, supplier, and trade relationship building, industry-specific networking and community involvement while building the local and national brand.
- Accountable for overseeing the financial performance of the group, which includes managing group budgets, profit & utilization targets, and ensuring the achievement of employee deliverables.
- Delivers technical expertise and manages construction projects across a diverse range of initiatives through collaborative engagement with project teams to identify and implement best practices.
- Oversees, trains, effectively manages performance, and facilitates the career development of direct reports.
- Responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of project teams to attain project milestones and goals, while meeting or exceeding delivery schedules and budgets.

Requirements of the Regional Manager:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience within the construction and consulting space
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- A strong project management track record
- A valid Driver's License, insurance, and personal vehicle are required (work-related travel will be compensated)
