Regional Commercial Director - Data Centre (M&E)
Location: Within commuting distance of London, with flexibility to attend as needed
Travel: Frequent travel across EU project locations
We are working with an established, market leading M&E contractor seeking a Regional Commercial Director to oversee the commercial delivery of a portfolio of hyperscale data centre projects across Europe.
This is a senior leadership role, working closely with existing Commercial Directors to provide strategic and operational oversight across multiple projects. You will take responsibility for ensuring consistent commercial performance, risk management, and reporting across the wider portfolio.
Responsibilities - Regional Commercial Manager
- Provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of data centre projects
- Oversee full end to end cost management from pre-contract through to final account
- Lead and review CVRs, cost reporting, and financial performance across projects
- Ensure risk management and commercial governance is maintained
- Support and guide project commercial teams
- Oversee and contribute to the agreement of final accounts
- Liaise closely with internal stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership
- Maintain visibility across programme, cost, and commercial performance
- Drive consistency in commercial processes and reporting standards
Skills and Experience - Regional Commercial Manager
- Considerable experience as a Commercial Manager
- Background within an MEP / M&E subcontractor environment
- Proven experience operating at a senior leadership level across multiple projects
Strong track record of:
- Leading final account agreements
- Managing CVRs and commercial reporting
- Implementing and overseeing risk management processes
- Delivering full end-to-end cost management
- Experience working on large-scale, complex projects such as:
- Data centres
- Pharmaceutical / life sciences
- Energy or infrastructure
- Large commercial developments
Proficient in:
- Primavera (P6)
- AutoCAD
- Comfortable with regular travel (bi-weekly) across European project locations
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
