Project Planner
Company: Tier 1 contractor / Building
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000

The Opportunity..
A leading tier 1 contractor is looking for a Project Planner to work in their Southern division. The successful Planner will work on a mix of live projects and tenders for public and private sector clients within the building sector. Projects range from £10m to £100+m and currently include healthcare (P23), retail/mixed use developments, university work and various commercial schemes.
Key requirements for the Project Planner position..
- Main contracting background within building/construction sector.
- A practical construction management or engineering background is preferred but not essential.
- Proficient in the use of Asta PowerProject software.
- Good understanding of various forms of tender documents, contract documents and specifications including JCT, NEC or bespoke forms of Construction Contracts.
- Exposure to a variety of commercial construction projects upwards of £10m.
- Excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, team player, able to work autonomously when required.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Qualified to a high standard in a relevant subject.
Ideal Locations..
- Hertfordshire, North London, Buckinghamshire.
