Project Engineer
Location: Guildford

Rate: £350 - £395
Start date : Immediate start, long term work
Hours: 7:30am - 5:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a dynamic company specializing in MEICA services for the Water sector. The successful candidate will be involved in managing a range of projects with varying scope and complexity, ensuring they are completed within agreed cost, timeline, and program requirements.
Key responsibilities for the project engineer role:
Assist the SED team in project design and estimation during the pre-implementation phase.
Oversee multiple projects and manage work awarded to suppliers and subcontractors.
Provide technical expertise in equipment repair, refurbishment, and replacement.
Develop, implement, and monitor pre-construction process plans.
Participate in start-up meetings, site visits, and design sessions.
Manage scope change notices in compliance with contract requirements, including early warnings and compensation notices.
Compile data for project-level KPIs.
Lead and manage project teams, including direct reports and subcontractors, ensuring successful project delivery.
Perform other related duties as required.
Experience required for this Project engineer role
- five years' experience in a design and build project delivery role within the water industry
NEC 3 knowledge and experience
HNC minimum in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
CSCS
SMSTS
Good communication skills.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD advantageous.
