Project Planner - Bacton Gas Turbine Station

Role Overview
A Project Planner is required to support the delivery of works at a gas turbine station in Bacton. The role will involve assisting the project team with programme development, progress tracking, and reporting to ensure that project activities are delivered in line with agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project programme using recognised planning software (e.g., Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project).
- Update the programme regularly to reflect site progress and changes to the scope of work.
- Track project progress against key milestones and highlight any potential delays.
- Work closely with the project manager, engineers, and site team to ensure activities are properly planned and coordinated.
- Produce short-term and look-ahead programmes to support site delivery.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Identify programme risks and support the team in implementing mitigation measures.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain progress information for programme updates.
- Attend planning and coordination meetings as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a planning role within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects.
- Familiarity with planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Basic understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery.
- Good organisational and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
