Mechanical Design Engineer
Summary
An innovative company specialising in large diameter rotary bored piling are looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the business and take charge of mechanical based designs within the business, including the companies range of Piling Rigs, ensuring that the innovative approach to piling is continued.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be involved in the design of small-scale structures, heavy equipment modifications, and engineering support for piling contractors
Seeking someone with
- 2/3+ years' experience in mechanical design, particularly within construction equipment or heavy engineering sector
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) Essential
- Structural design, hydraulic systems, and heavy fabrication knowledge. (Desirable)
Training and development will be provided for the successful candidate
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 plus package negotiable dependant on experience.
