Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join a main consultant based in Warwickshire, carrying out work across the UK.
Your role as Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant will involve reporting to Senior members of staff and furthering your Geo-Environmental career.

Key responsibilities for this Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant role:
• Site appraisals, desk-based assessments
• Working to company and client specific health, safety and environmental standards
• Work in both the office and on-site and to work outdoors in all weather conditions and be flexible and self-motivated
• Supervising intrusive site investigations including logging, sampling and monitoring
• Experienced in soil description/logging a range of exploratory techniques
• Carry out CBR, Plate Bearing Tests and Soakaway tests
• Carry out monitoring of gas and groundwater conditions
• Obtain core samples using hand-held equipment
• Be able to identify technical problems on site understand how overcome constraints
• Keep accurate records of site observations and data
• Preparation of factual reports and a keenness to develop interpretative skills.
Experience required for this Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant role:
BSc/MSc in Geology / GeoScience / Geoengineering and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience. You’ll be confident to work autonomously when on site and have: • Right to live and work in the UK, • competent with Microsoft Office for Email, Word and Excel, • Full clean driving licence, and • CSCS Card or equivalent.
Package offered for this Junior Geo-Environmental Consultant role:
· Day rate £150 - £170 (Depending on experience)
