Location: Snowdonia , North Wales
Based on site with full accommodation paid for where required.

Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 plus car / car allowance, travel & accommodation paid where required & package.

Summary

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager to support with the delivery of a major £350 Million high profile tunnelling project in North Wales which will be delivered over the next 6 years.

The team in Wales led by the Director are looking for an experienced H&S specialist with a Civil Engineering background to lead, manage and coordinate the all aspects of health and safety on sites whilst driving continual improvement and ensuring the wellbeing of the site delivery team.

You will manage a small team but also have responsibility of overseeing several sites, carry out inspection and audits and be responsibility for overall safety on live sites.

Seeking candidates with:

- BSc or relevant qualification in Civil engineering or relevant
- Previous experience on major infrastructure projects and ideally tunnel projects is required.
- Tier 1 experience (beneficial)
- Health & Safety knowledge
- CSCS/NEBOSH/IOSH Certificates
- Experience of Risk Assessments
- Highways/Civil Engineering Experience
- Experience of managing a team
- Excellent communication skills
- CMIOSH (Desired)
