Health & Safety Advisor - Rail (Transport for London)
Summary
A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector is currently recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to work on a large railway infrastructure project in the North London area working on Cockfosters Depot as part of the Piccadilly Line Upgrade.
As a Health & Safety Advisor you will help ensure compliance with all legislative and corporate standards while assisting with the coordination of Safety Management Systems, risk assessments, audits, and stakeholder requirements.
- To be suitable for the Health & Safey Advisor role you will need;
- Relevant health & safety experience in Construction / Civil engineering
- Ideally have rail / TFL experience
- NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, or equivalent
- CSCS card
- To be a qualified internal health & safety auditor with demonstrable experience of completing internal audits. Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential.
- An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.
- A working knowledge of current and impending health & safety legislation
Salary: Circa £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus package including:
