An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate or Mid-Level Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing and well-established geotechnical consultancy. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office, home working, and site-based activities across various locations throughout the UK (typically 60% office / 40% site).
This position would suit an individual looking to develop their career within a supportive environment, working across a diverse range of ground investigation and geotechnical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertaking and supervising ground investigations across multiple UK sites
- Logging soils and rocks in accordance with BS5930 standards
- Supporting and managing projects from planning through to delivery
- Acting as a point of contact for clients and maintaining strong working relationships
- Producing accurate factual reports
- Using logging software to capture and manage site data
Requirements
- Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience within ground investigation (graduate to mid-level)
- Competent in logging to BS5930
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage or support project delivery
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience using logging software (desirable)
