Freelance Estimator
Location : Birmingham or Manchester
Rate: £400 - £450 a day outside IR35
Duration: 6-month ongoing freelance contract
Home working: 2 days from home
Project Type: NEC/Infrastructure
My client is an award-winning construction consultancy, who are working with several reputable businesses in the industry. They are recruiting for a freelance Estimator to start asap with ideally 10 years' experience within infrastructure/NEC.
This role would require BPSS to be done
Key Responsibilities for this Freelance Estimator Role:
- Obtaining quotes from subcontractors and suppliers for various project requirements.
- Evaluating potential risks associated with a project and incorporating them into the estimate.
- Creating detailed cost summaries and preparing bids for new contracts.
- Overseeing project costs to ensure they align with the initial estimate.
- Utilizing software and data to analyse costs and make accurate predictions.
- Understanding client needs, presenting bids, and addressing questions.
