Electrical Project Manager (Integration) - Data Centre Construction
We are partnered with an international Construction Consultancy supporting the delivery of Data Centre programmes across Europe. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager (Integration) to take client side responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of electrical infrastructure on a Hyperscale Data Centre project.
You would oversee critical power systems from design to construction, testing, and commissioning, working closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, utilities, and client stakeholders to ensure safe and compliant delivery of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities - Electrical Project Manager
• Lead the planning and delivery of electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, earthing, and control systems
• Manage electrical scopes across design, construction, testing, and commissioning phases
• Coordinate interfaces between Electrical, Mechanical, CSA, and Digital Systems
• Oversee contractor performance against programme, quality, and safety requirements
• Ensure electrical works comply with local codes, international standards, and client specifications
• Implement and maintain electrical quality assurance and inspection regimes
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards across all electrical works
• Act as a key point of contact between the Client, Design teams, Contractors, and Utilities
• Contribute to technical workshops and progress meetings
• Manage risks, technical queries, and delivery constraints
• Track electrical progress against programme milestones and report status to senior stakeholders
• Support change control processes, providing technical input on scope, risk, and impact
• Ensure all electrical documentation, testing records, and commissioning data are complete and auditable
Experience Required for the Electrical Project Manager
• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline
• Proven experience delivering electrical packages in Data Centre environments
• Understanding of critical power systems, redundancy, resilience, and commissioning processes
• Experience operating in a client side or consultancy environment with multiple stakeholders
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
