Construction Lead Supervisor – Data Centre
We are partnered with an international Construction Consultancy seeking an experienced Construction Lead Supervisor to support the delivery of Data Centre construction programme based in Belgium.
This role is site based and client facing, with responsibility for overseeing all site construction activities. You will act as the senior construction authority on site, coordinating contractors, enforcing safety and quality standards, and ensuring works are delivered in line with programme milestones, cost controls, and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities - Construction Lead Supervisor
• Take full responsibility for daily site operations across all construction activities
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and programme
• Proactively identify and resolve site issues impacting safety, quality, cost, or schedule
• Lead, coordinate, and manage multiple subcontractors and site teams
• Chair daily briefings and coordination meetings
• Enforce HSE standards and ensure strict compliance with local regulations and project safety procedures
• Conduct regular site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety audits
• Ensure all construction works meet project QA/QC requirements and relevant building codes
• Verify workmanship against technical drawings and specifications
• Track progress against programme milestones and flag risks early
• Provide clear and accurate site progress reports to senior project stakeholders
• Oversee material deliveries, storage, and logistics to avoid delays or congestion
• Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and project management teams to maintain programme continuity
Stakeholder & Client Interface - Construction Lead Supervisor
• Act as the primary site point of contact for project management, consultants, and contractors
• Maintain clear communication and professional representation of the client
Experience Required - Construction Lead Supervisor
• Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor, Construction Manager, or Lead Supervisor on commercial or industrial projects
• Deep experience working on Data Centre projects
• Expertise in construction sequencing, temporary works, and multi-trade coordination
• Ability to read, interpret, and challenge technical drawings and construction documentation
• Solid working knowledge of HSE regulations and quality management systems
• Fluent in English (French and/or Dutch is advantageous)
• Leadership presence with the ability to manage fast paced site environments
• Confident communicator with senior stakeholders and contractor teams
• Highly organised, detail oriented, and proactive in risk identification
