Job Title: Buildings Construction Manager

A fantastic Buildings Construction Manager opportunity has arisen with a fast-paced Principal Contractor specialising in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure works. The Buildings Construction Manager will lead and be accountable for Buildings Construction Management on the project, ensuring the scope of works are delivered in a safe & timely manner, to the required quality standards, meeting the acceptance criteria and achieving the expected financial outcomes.
This a great opportunity to work on a the heavy Civil Engineering aspects of a major high-profile Power project based in London.

Key responsibilities of this Buildings Construction Manager role:
• Management of the delivery team during the pre-construction, construction and subsequent phases of the project.
• Input construction resources including Labour, Plant, Subcontractors and Materials to the to Package & Project Managers.
• Ensure all temporary and permanent construction and installation activities are carried out in accordance with quality, environmental and H&S procedures and all appropriate legislation.
• Develop and maintain effective communication and relationships with the Client and other project stakeholders.
• Manage budget to agreed targets or with improvements.
Experience required for this Buildings Construction Manager role:
• 5+ years Project Management experience of a Civil Engineering project.
• HNC / HND or NVQ Level 5
• SMSTS or alternative appropriate safety training.
• Commercial and contractual awareness - understanding of building and maintaining budgets.
• Evidence of client & stakeholder management.
Package offered for this Buildings Construction Manager role:
• £60,000 - £65,000 base salary DOE
• Travel allowance

• 25 days annual leave + BH
