Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £35,000 plus package
My client is currently looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for their Eastern Region office. They are looking for someone with some experience in groundworks or civils. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in commercial activities for construction projects and a willingness to learn and progress.
The company is renowned civils contractor who have a very exciting position for an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to join a company with a great track record of promoting their people to more senior positions.
Key responsibilities for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:
Assist Project Quantity Surveyors in preparation of interim and final accounts.
Assist Project Quantity Surveyors in sub-contract procurement ensuring best value.
Assist Project Quantity Surveyors in sub-contract valuations and final accounts.
Experience required for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor role:
Be able to work clearly and accurately under pressure and to tight timescales.
Be able to think logically and laterally.
Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
