Salary / Benefits
£45,000 - £55,000 negotiable dependant on experience. plus package / car allowance
Company Information
A leading player in the civil engineering and infrastructure sector, working across the rail, highways and energy sectors is currently seeking a Senior Sustainability, Carbon, and Energy Advisor to support the delivery of a large-scale construction contracts
To be suitable for the position you must have:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Environmental)
- Experience of dealing with Statutory Bodies and Clients, and delivering successful applications, schemes, discharging planning conditions and permits as required to undertake works.
- Good knowledge of ISO14001 and experience at managing audits and/or as lead auditor Demonstrable experience of passing ISO14001 audits.
- Ability to lead and develop the IMS according to company need and best practice.
- Minimum Degree level qualified, must be a full member of IEMA (or similar) and/or working towards achieving within one year.
- Experience working within the Civils or Construction sector
- Relevant Environmental Qualifications.
- Proficiency in MS office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Full Driving licence
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have
- NEBOSH Environmental
- Environmental Degree.
- Rail/Construction Experience.
Role Summary
- To produce, maintain and deliver the Sustainability Strategy as agreed with the Management Team.
- To provide a proactive and comprehensive Environmental advisory and administration support service to project locations and head office.
