Bid Manager

Job Title: Bid Manager, also keen to hear from Proposal Managers, Senior Bid Writers, and Project Managers with Bid experience.
Location: Remote working with the view to be in the midlands office for 2/3 days a week.
Rate: Dependant on experience starting from £350 a day, initial determination deemed outside IR35.

Contract Length: Initial 4 month contract with view to extend.

Start Date: Immediate start dates available, happy to wait for the right person.
Project Information:
Working with one of the UKs largest Rail Contractors to deliver expert commercial assistance on Complex Rail Projects including TRU, HS2 and CrossRail.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Recent Bid Management experience ideally in a Rail environment
- Good presentation, time management and organisational skills
- Proven delivery bid solutions upwards of £100,000
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to change

Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Rail Telecoms experience / knowledge
- Strong negotiation and client communication background
- Experience in leading a bid team, either as a bid manager or project manager.
Role Information;
- Responsibility for the planning, management and control of all bid activities.
- Deliver all aspects of the tender process, including information, presentation, accuracy and submittal of formal bid and prequalification responses to maximise success
- Responsible for maintaining and developing good client / stakeholder relationships.
- Preparation of all Commercial/Technical/Financial/Risk documents
- Identifying and advising of any commercial, financial or technical risk for bids
- Presentations at either pre or post qualification stages
