Your requirements:
- Railway knowledge and demonstratable experience of planning works on the rail infrastructure - preferably on LNE, East Mids and Anglia
- Previous experience planning and delivering enabling works to facilitate examinations - including of vegetation clearance, culvert cleansing, minor excavations, break outs of pockets of brickwork, removal/re-instatement of cladding
- Previous experience interfacing with multiple different stakeholders - such as land owners, EA, TFL, canal & river trust
- Solid perception of risk - possessing safety qualifications such as SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH etc
- Commercially aware with experience delivering to budget/managing spend

The role:
- Planning, organisation, motivation & deployment of allocated site personnel and resources within programme
- Control of temporary & permanent works materials & equipment
- Ensure pre-site visits have been undertaken & works have been approved by the client
- Promote & implement site specific management plans & activity in line with CML policies
- Requests / produces safe system of works where necessary
- Prepare site works package plans & contract plans to achieve the client's requirements and specification. Submit any possession, isolation & traffic management requests where required
- Maintain the client's database ensuring all data is updated regularly
- Liaise with third parties to gain consents (i.e. Environment Agency, Local Authorities, etc)
- Raise design requests & submit to the design coordinator
- Provide guidance and advice to site personnel for the competent execution of contract works
- Liaise with Contract Manager & Commercial team regarding any estimates or technical queries
- Undertake a review of proposed works arising from any design works with Contract Manager & Commercial
- Liaise with the Contract Manager at all stages of works. Analyse and report contract progress and advise of any changes to the intended work scope
- Administration / completion of site paperwork and submit to head office
- Review completed works with the Site Supervisor to ensure it is satisfactory & project documentation present
- Liaise with client personnel on a day-to-day basis
- Identify training needs & development potential of allocated CML personnel
- Undertake site visits with other contracts / sub-contractors where necessary
