£42,000 - £50,000 Depending on experience + car allowance and excellent company benefits

My client is a main contractor who have won many awards and worked on some very high profile projects and are currently working on a major framework project in the UK.
To be suitable for the position you must have;
- Experience as a traffic & transport manager
- Experience working with highways, traffic, and road safety management in a local authority, partnership organization or consultancy.
- Experience of highways, traffic safety, road safety, public transport, cycling, walking & street work noticing.
Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have;
- Experience in a similar position with a medium size to major size civil engineering main contractor.
- IT Skills and experience working with a database systems Microsoft excel outlook and teams.
- Effective communication skills.
Role Information;

- You will be mainly home based with the occasional visit to the office at Grimsby.
- You should have ideally have experience of and a track record of site delivery of civils packages such as highways, traffic safety, road safety, public transport, cycling, walking & street work noticing.

- You will: Manage the traffic and transport team responsible for the safe and efficient movement of traffic over the local authority's network of adopted highways, Lead and develop the team and ensure that it methods of working are efficient, effective and deliver agreed service level outcomes within required timescales. Manage revenue and capital budgets.
