The Technical Coordinator Role:
An established and growing housebuilder is looking to appoint a Technical Coordinator to join their technical team. You will be responsible for coordinating Engineering and Architectural information across multiple residential developments, typically overseeing up to three sites at any one time from post-planning through to completion.
Working closely with consultants, site teams and commercial departments, you will ensure all technical information is accurate, up to date and delivered in line with programme requirements. You will also play a key role in resolving technical queries, managing design information and supporting the smooth delivery of projects across a mix of open market, construction and partnership housing schemes.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong technical background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality residential developments.
To be considered for the Technical Coordinator position:
- Previous experience within housebuilding, ideally in a Technical Coordinator, Design Coordinator or similar role
- Strong understanding of coordinating Architectural and Engineering design information from post-planning to completion
- Good knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC standards, and residential construction processes
- Experience managing multiple sites at various stages of development
- HNC, HND, or degree in Construction, Architecture or a related discipline preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
