Our Client is a well established multi-national firm operating in Ontario. They are looking to add an experienced Assistant Site Superintendent to their team for Mid-Rise and High-Rise Residential projects located in Oakville.

 

The ideal candidate for this role possesses the following qualities and qualifications:

 

At least three (3) years of technical training or construction supervision experience in Residential and Commercial sector construction work.

 

- Experienced in managing projects that value over 10 Million. -- - Comprehensive understanding of construction scheduling, contracts, quality control, engineering principles and drawings, and safety regulations.
- In-depth understanding of construction safety best-practices and experience enforcing strict health and safety procedures on-site.
- Ability to interpret construction cost reports and provide input on opportunities to improve project budget.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify/mitigate risks and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to coordinate and execute multiple scopes of work.
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to provide guidance and instruction to a large team of labourers and subcontractors.
- Ability/willingness to travel around or outside of the GTA to our various construction project sites.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.), and ability to adapt to new technology for improving productivity.

 

Compensation offered for the successful Site Superintendent:
- Salary up to $120,000 COE
- Health Benefits Package
- Paid mileage 45 per mile
