Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Gatwick Airport Station
Rate: £350/day
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35 Determination: Inside IR35
Our client, who is a very successful national construction and civils contractor, is looking for an experienced Site Engineer for their Groundworks and Steelworks project in Gatwick Airport Station.
The position available is within the Airport Concourse Team at Gatwick Station Project, focusing on the Airport Concourse and Platform 3/4 Steelwork deliverables.
All works on are to be carried out in close proximity to the operational rail. It must be completed safely, to the right quality and on time. Creating a positive relationship with Network Rail and Gatwick Airport Ltd that enhances the clients reputation.
As Site Engineer, the role will include control of all works with the subcontractor, production of TBS, ITP's and permits to enable works, as well as raising safety observations and driving the projects safety and quality behaviours
The ideal candidate
- Must have experienced in Steel Structures
- Must have experience of working on Network Rail projects and being familiar with Network Rail standards
- Experience of delivering projects at a UK airport
- Experience of working on complex station projects
- Experienced in effective safety leadership and engagement
- Degree qualified or high learning achieved
- Member of a relevant professional body and working towards professional membership
