SHEQ Manager

Job Description

We have a current opportunity for a SHEQ Manager to join an established telecoms provider on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working oppurtunity with the office based in Sheffield. There will be the expectation from the client to be able to regularly travel nationwide for site visits.

The Role:

  • Taking ownership of the SHEQ function
  • Manage and guide internal staff & external stakeholders with regards to implementing health and safety procedures.
  • Ensuring risk assessments are prepared, reviewed and implemented as per procedure.
  • Ensure health and safety inspections are carried out.
  • Liase with clients regarding SHEQ management.
  • Develop health and safety procedures.
  • Ensuring SHEQ compliance across all areas of business.
  • Create and lead training sessions in relation to SHEQ.
  • Providing the final level of approval on all SHEQ related project requirements.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • Experienced in managing H&S as a Tier 1 contractor.
  • Experienced with ISO9001, 45001 and 18001.
