This is a great opportunity for an experienced SHE Advisor to join my client. There has never been a better time to join them, they are a private equity funded, ambitious business expecting to double their Group turnover to more than £1bn within the next 5 years.
Their teams design, build and maintain critical national infrastructure for UK gas asset owners and we have an urgent requirement for an experienced SHE Advisor with a utilities background to drive our health, safety, environmental and quality responsibilities across our national contracts.
Key responsibilities for this SHE Advisor role:
- Undertaking periodic risk assessments and implementing more robust procedures when necessary
- Providing specialist SHEQ advice to colleagues / subcontractors
- Ensuring contracts are compliant and that positive behaviours are embedded in the day to day works of our operational teams
Experience required for this SHE Advisor role:
- Previous Energy / Infrastructure sector experience, in addition to a full UK driving license and vehicle for work purposes.
- Understanding of health and safety issues as they relate to the property maintenance space, and ability to implement processes in line with industry standards
- Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors; we are looking for a team player who can add value to our operational teams
- CMIOSH or equivalent (or be working towards this)
Package offered for this SHE Advisor role:
- £40,000-50,000 depending on experience
- A company car allowance, to the value of £4,200
- 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
- 3/5% pension contribution
