About the Role
We're working with a major main contractor delivering a large-scale hyperscale data centre campus, and are seeking an experienced Services Manager to lead the coordination, integration, and commissioning of all MEP and critical systems through to handover.
This is a senior technical leadership role suited to someone who has grown through electrical, mechanical, commissioning, or MEP coordination disciplines and is ready to own the full services scope on a major mission-critical build.
Scope & Responsibilities
- Coordinate all services trades - electrical, HVAC, fire protection, controls, communications, and commissioning teams, ensuring systems integrate correctly both physically and operationally
- Manage critical power infrastructure: switchboards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, battery rooms, busways, and redundant power feeds
- Oversee cooling and thermal management, including chillers, cooling towers, containment systems, pipework, and airflow balancing
- Lead BIM-driven coordination: clash detection, coordinated services drawings, and sequencing reviews
- Own testing and commissioning delivery, including integrated systems testing, generator load testing, UPS failover testing, black building tests, and thermal testing
- Act as the technical authority ensuring all critical systems are designed, installed, integrated, and tested to operate continuously without failure
Candidate Profile
- Background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, commissioning engineering, project engineering, or MEP coordination
- Proven experience delivering MEP/critical systems on large-scale, mission-critical, or hyperscale data centre projects
- Strong working knowledge of BIM coordination and commissioning methodologies (ATP/IST)
- Comfortable managing multiple trade contractors and vendors on a fast-paced, high-complexity build
- Campus-scale or multi-building project experience preferred
