Senior Quantity surveyor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major contractor working on a major civil engineering
As we look to increase our efficiency whilst outperforming against project and customer expectations, it is essential we plan in the most innovative, robust and accurate fashion. With this in mind, we are looking for a number of Senior Quantity Surveyors with some experience, who are keen to progress , to join the team
Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Assist the programme area estimating team to ensure robust estimates are provided that align to scope and make allowance for risks and opportunities
- Subcontracts are properly prepared & reflect agreed scope
- Subcontracts are properly managed in accordance with contract requirements including compliance with all responses to communications, payments, early warnings, compensation events,
- Work closely with the site Team attending site regularly to ensure they are aware of and can manage the allowances and outputs, provide robust challenge to achieve outperformance, communicate change control and escalate when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain both company and client KPI's.
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Industry applicable Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Previous experience within the civil engineering sector
- Experience as a quantity surveyor 4+ years
- Experience on high value projects
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role
- £55,000 - £65,000 Depending on experience
- Car or Car Allowance
- Holidays / Bank Holidays
