Senior Quantity Surveyor
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major Joint Venture working on one of the biggest civils MOD projects in the UK.
The company is an award-winning main contractor who are experts in the civil engineering, infrastructure, and construction sector. Your role as Senior Quantity Surveyor you will play a key role in the commercial and cost management of a number of projects from within this exciting portfolio of work from inception through to close out.

Key responsibilities for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company.
- Report to Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager about the subcontract status.
- Assist senior staff in pricing variations – this will not just be mechanical and electrical scope.
- Cost control.
- Support the Commercial and Contract Managers with monthly project cost reports and progress reports.
Experience required for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- Experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably within the Defence or MOD sector.
- Experience with reinforced concrete.
- Minimum BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Previous NEC4 contract experience
- Demonstrable negotiation and presentation skills
Package offered for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:
- £400-500 DOE/travel & accommodation.
- 12 months rolling contract.
