This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor and work on an exciting utility framework based in Peterborough.

Salary:
Up to £60k plus car/car allowance and other company benefits

The company are market leaders in the civil engineering sector and your role as Quantity Surveyor you'll take ownership of commercial activities associated with the framework.

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Assist the programme area estimating team to ensure robust estimates are provided
- Ensure subcontracts are properly prepared & reflect agreed scope.
- Work closely with the procurement team, Construction Manager and Project Delivery Manager
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- Demonstrable experience of working on relevant projects within the Civil engineering sector
- Degree in cost related discipline or engineering.
- Extensive experience in managing costs in high value projects.
