Senior Project Manager
This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager/ senior to work for a specialist civil engineering contractor who are working to support the successful delivery of HS2.
This company are responsible for the waterproofing of tunnels for the wider HS2 project which is currently valued at around £24M which is likely to double in the next couple of years.
They currently have secured 2 ½ years of work, however it is likely that they will pick more work up on the back of it which is where the value will increase.
Key responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager include.
- Managing the change and contracts across the project
- Attend compensation events
- Managing the early warnings to ensure the successful delivery of the project
- Ensure that the tasks are complete on the database used for timekeeping to ensure everything is on schedule
- Ensure the successful management and overall delivery of the project
Experience required for this Senior Project Manager role include.
- Experience working for a Tier 1 or 2 contractor
- Ideally will need good experience with change management as there will be a lot on this project
- NEC3 contract knowledge/ experience
- Have a strong civils background, ideally within a structures or concrete background
Package offered for this Senior Project Manager position includes.
- Up to £70,000
- £6,500 car allowance or car
- 25 days holiday + birthday + a day off near Christmas
- Pension Scheme
- Discretionary bonus around 5% (profit related)
- Expenses covered for travel and lodging
