A fantastic Senior HSE Advisor opportunity has arisen with a Tier 1 Engineering Contractor, operating across Ireland, UK & Northern Europe in the power transmission and distribution, data centre and pharmaceuticals sectors. Key Role Purpose of the Senior HSE Advisor:
As a Senior HSE Advisor, you will join a well-established Transmission & Distribution team, providing leadership and coordination of the EHS requirements with the Project Management Team(s):
- Provide advice, guidance, instruction and training on all EHS matters to management, safety representatives, employees & subcontractors.
- Carry out audits, inspections & incident investigation reports, establish corrective & preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence and to develop continuous improvements.
- Participate in Site meetings, report on business EHS risks, trends and recommend constructive actions towards continuous improvements.
Requirements of the Senior HSE Advisor:
- 5 Years’ Experience in similar industry on large scale projects
- Experience with Construction Regulations & roles, and experience working with sub-contractors is essential.
- Proactive in identifying positive and negative acts, ability to follow through with realistic corrective and preventive actions.
- Up to date with Legislation, Guidance, Advice and Compliance
- High Level of IT Proficiency
- At least Level 6 NVQ certificate in Occupational H&S.
- Safe Pass & Manual Handling, Manual Handling Instructor, First Aid Training, IOSH Member
- Full UK Driving License - happy to travel across sites
